Stuck in with a cold.

Having a cold and being stuck home for days is one of my lease favorite situations. But here i am monday morning still recovering although i must go to work today even if its just for a few hours.

I missed the opening for Camille Rose Garcia but the show will be up for a little while so if you missed it too its @ Merry Karnowsky Gallery on La Brea.

I hate trends and fads, and have been into Alice in Wonderland since I was a child. Now that it's becoming mainstream, I don't know whether to be gleeful or disgusted. Not that anyone in New York is caught dead wearing a tutu or mary-janes (until somewhere like Bendel's carries them!) unless they're alternative, but just seeing it advertised everywhere is kind of irritating! It's all about selling products now. :/

I feel the same way about over saturation of certain things. Esp if its a childhood memory. Or just a favorite book. Im generally disappointed when a movie is made out off a book though.
