This past week was spring break for me (and everybody else most likely). It’s a new reality for me,this past year and a half being on a work and school schedule. I actually look forward to having a few consecutive days off from school where normally I just work through trying to catch up with my sewing and various commision projects. This semester I actually took a mental break and took a trip to my hometown Santa Cruz,CA. It is the one constant in my life, I was born and grew up there. I feel more at home by just walking in the redwoods or any other stretch of beach or pathway there than anywhere else on earth.
In any case being me, I can never actually just turn my mind off. So I did a quick little few look shoot at my friend Emily’s house while I was visiting. She owns an amazing Salon and is a veteran highly educated stylist for anyone in the area who is looking for great hair check out Click Click Bang ( also I built her website for her 🙂 )
If you ever have worked with me you know I figure things out last minute and add and subtract looks while shooting. I love working with creative/talented/real people as well as shooting in different environments with controlled lighting. Although I will and am going to force myself out into the real world and out of my comfort zone for the rest of the year. Photography wise.
