Hello Anyone who reads my blogs, is a girl and also a model….
I am helping Gary find some special girls for his upcoming show. Models will be wearing original pieces of art , costumes designed from his illustrations.
It will also be a performance art type of thing as well.
The shoe runs 7pm-11pm May 2nd for the opening.
Compensation will be i believe signed limited print from the artist and lots of press exposure.
I will have more details in the next few days.
Its quite a good opportunity that could also lead to other things.

La Noche de la Fusion, Gary Baseman’s solo show, opens Saturday, May 2nd at Corey Helford Gallery. Be sure to save the date to attend this one-of-a-kind celebration! It will be a night like no other. . .this isn’t just a regular art show reception. It’s a celebration, a ceremony, a unique experience that you won’t want to miss. There will be women in Baseman-inspired Carnivale costumes, live music, Baseman characters come to life, and a sacrificial ceremony during the opening reception. Baseman guarantees you’ve never seen anything like this. Or maybe you have…the influences for this show can be found the world over, inspired by Baseman’s round-the-world travels in 2008 and 2009. It’s a night of fusing and melting cultures, of blurring lines of reality, of melting the walls and forces that hold one back, it’s La Noche de la Fusion!
